Below is a non-inclusive list of research projects that I have participated in. The name in parentheses after the project name is that of the faculty member or researcher that supervised my work.
- Summer 2006: Tested the suitability of decision trees to detect faking on noncognitive assessments (Richard Roberts)
- Fall 2005 to present: Worked with SUMMIT (a group at the Stanford medical school) to develop a new method for scoring surgeons' proficiency on surgical simulators (Richard Shavelson)
- Spring 2005 to present: Evaluated the use of teachable agent systems for assessment (Daniel Schwartz)
- Fall 2004 to Spring 2005: Studied high- and low-stakes achievement score gap changes across states (Edward Haertel)
- Summer 2003 to Spring 2004: Developed Euclid Avenue, an automated proof scoring system for proofs in calculational logic (David Gries)
